I will have sprouts, but can't say I am over keen, mainly on the taste

I will quite happily have most other veg though - just as long as they aren't too overcooked

Sprouts are vile no matter how they are cooked. ;)
I'd agree wholeheartedly, they are disgusting little things.
I love sprouts, cooked al-dente after a frost has sweetened them, but Curly Kale is the way forward.

Mrs K'down makes the best cauliflower cheese going. A nice mature Cheddar is her secret!
Curly Kale is indeed very nice, and I would happily replace most other vegetables of the brassicae family with it.
I like sprouts - slightly crunchy and post first frost.
Roast parsnips are my favourite though.
Cabbage - white is OK but Savoy is really nice.
Peas, carrots, green beans are OK.
Mushy peas are excellent
Sweetcorn - nice but alarmingly resistant to the human digestive system.
Broccoli - not keen on but will eat small quantities.
Cauliflower - disgusting stuff - wouldn't touch with a bargepole.
Parsips are vile; I can taste the stuff in minute amounts, no matter how well it's processed
Cabbage - I will eat it but it's not something I'm fond of
Peas/Carrots - the two veg that I eat with no end
Sweetcorn/Broccoli - I also like these veg, and I eat it most days
Cauliflower - I hate the things, despite liking broccoli: it is the combination of the mushy texture and taste that I hate.

Then again, I don't like mushrooms or courgettes, but I do love nearly any kind of fruit.

I had quite a nice cauliflower and cheese quiche with side salad in pub opposite Raynes Park Station a couple of nights ago.

Do you know the difference between Brussels sprouts and bogies?

You can't get kids to eat Brussels sprouts. :D

Forgot about courgettes, not had any in ages, but I do like them (in ratatouille usually) but I make it without aubergine, another vile veg.
