Hello. I'm looking at booking a trip to Liege, Eurostar to Brussels, then connection. One option is to by a E* 'any belgian station' ticket and use the ordinary intercity service; but it might be interesting to try the high speed line, even though it is a short journey. Except that if I go on the SNCB website, it seems to offer times and fares only for IC services.

How would I go about booking Brussels-Liege specifically by high speed train? Can it be booked as as combined ticket with E*, and if not, who is the Belgian retailer? Just curious.

The IC services to Eupen/Vise use the high speed route at 125mph if you are only after the track, some of the Eupen services are also deckers. The only through services on the conventional route are the hourly 'splitters' via Landen.

Probably need to use Thalys/DB site respectively for those services.

You can't book domestic journeys (for any country) via the Thalys website (this is totally dumb <( ). However, it is possible to book ICE tickets for a Belgian domestic journey via the DB website.
I remember reading on the SNCB website that domestic tickets could be upgraded for travel on Thalys/ICE but I can't find that reference anymore. If you want to travel from Brussels to Liege on a Thalys I can only suggest asking at an information desk in Brussels.

as above: the hourly Eupen IC-trains run fast via the HS-line. You can simply use them on an ''any ''.
Alternatively book on bahn.de for a ticket LON to Aachen or Kóln on the german ICE and hope theyve done with their strikes-and get off at Liége, but then you might do as well the remaining section of HS in BE to Germany. Could even work out same price or 1-2 eur cheaper.
OR use-be fast!- the current WEBdeal on b-rail.be, any single in BE for 6 eur-same price as juniors<26 get anyway. Limited till sold out.
