Brunel Arcade, the old new Reading Station

I see the area of the old M&S is a huge fenced off area of nothing now, what are they going to put there to replace it?

Must say the arcade looks a whole lot better now that M&S has gone!

The space might work quite well as a food court layout, with takeaway food or drinks serveries around the outside and shared seating (tables and chairs) in the middle. But the main footfall has shifted westwards, and with the arcade a bit out on a limb, I'm not sure it would attract enough business.

It would suit me as I'm regularly changing trains at Reading, and there aren't many good options for whiling away half an hour. If the connection is longer than that, then the Hope Tap comes into play!
