The toy (sorry, miniature) railway in Poynton, Cheshire has been affected by heavy rain.
The grand reopening of a popular miniature railway has been cancelled after the rain flooded the track.

Bosses at Brookside Miniature Railway, in Poynton, had hoped this Sunday's event with free train rides and a vintage funfair would still go ahead. But the recent rainfall is putting too much pressure on a retaining wall at the site and it won't be safe to open to the public.

The railway is currently working with the Klondyke Group - owner of Brookside Garden Centre, where it is based - along with specialist professionals to rectify the problem and get the attraction back open as soon as possible.
It was fun to watch it before it got closed last September. Hope it'll be back in service soon.
