Bromsgrove station - parking in the vicinity

I plan to take a ride up the newly electrified Lickey Incline shortly on my way to a day in Birmingham. I have a few questions about parking where I would appreciate members’ answers, please.

1. I see that there is car parking at the new Bromsgrove station for £3 per day. On Mondays to Fridays, when does it become full? Alternatively, would I be able to find a place there if I turned up after the morning peak?
2. What other suitable car parks are there nearby? One website suggests Aston Fields but it looks like an old map and shows this near the old, now demolished station.
3. Do local streets have parking restrictions unhelpful to me such as a maximum of 4 hours’ parking, or no waiting from 11:00 to 12:00 but unrestricted for the other 23 hours? If so, can members suggest somewhere else? You may wish to PM me on this if you prefer.

I am prepared to walk for 10 or 15 minutes if necessary.

It's a big car park and there will be spaces free whatever time you turn up - the section past the station entrance will have the most spaces available.

The old small station car park at Aston Fields is run by the council. I think it's now free but limited to 2 hours.

Just the streets closest to the station (and some of the busier roads) have parking restrictions. You should be able to find on-street parking within 10 minutes walk, but all the closer parking will probably be full.

Thank you for your prompt and comprehensive reply. I turned up after the morning peak yesterday. I heeded your advice and headed straight for the section of car park past the station entrance. For my future use I note that the parking fee is just £1.50 for the day on Saturday or Sunday.

I enjoyed my first electric run up the Lickey on a 2 x 3 car class 323 train, with lots of space. I returned from New Street in the evening peak on a well filled 2 x 2 car class 170 bound for Worcester and beyond, with plenty getting off at Bromsgrove.
