Me, and many other passengers, have been seemingly abandoned on the westbound platform at Partick after a 318 + 320 ECS move broke down with no brake release between Charing Cross and Partick. I was on the service after this (2E69), also a 318 + 320, which rescued the stricken units by coupling onto the rear. This service terminated at Partick after over an hours delay.
However, after this service, there have been no further trains in passenger service - only a convoy of about 8 ECS movements! (Presumably going fast to Dalmuir/Milngavie to pick up their next eastbound workings there). This is all well and good if you are travelling east, but route control seem to have completely forgotten that there have been no westbound passenger trains for well over an hour!
Because eastbound passengers have had a reasonably uninterrupted service thoughout the disruption, surely the priority should be getting westbound passengers to their destinations, instead of completely forgetting that they exist?!
