Broken down train at Twyford blocking lines all day

Today my train to work (0633 from maidenhead) was cancelled due to broken down train in the Twyford area. This same broken down train is still in situ causing delays at 1730.
Why can't the train be moved?

In a side note I've lived in an area served by gwr for 5 weeks and commuting daily to London I have 8 delay repay requests active. Are they always so unreliable ?
