Brockenhurst through platform 4

Weymouth service terminated at platform 4 at Brokenhurst then resumed later ECS due towards Bournemouth. As it arrived there was a lot of dust and 1st class passenger alighted in the building works at the Soton end. The Lymington branch diesel was sent on to Bournemouth to be used as a shuttle and the Lymington services cancelled. This returned to platform 1 at Brokenhurst by 1500 when problem fixed.

Yes and it returned as 2Z02 at platform 1.
The next train at platform 4 was a Weymouth bound train which was terminated. This train stood at platform 4 for at least 30 minutes. The passengers were transferred onto the XC.
