I heard on the Local radio station that due to a Failed train the service between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier had been replaced by a bus service. The heritage train (1498) has been running on this line and I know that SWT had planned to remove it in about 2 Months time. So does anyone know if the end of the line has come early for 1498? Or are we in luck still with something else running that line today? ???

Sorry If I missed the point here but having looked at the thread I was pointed too it doesn’t actually mention anywhere on it that the train failed TODAY. So the question was is it an early end to the slam doors ????
