Is it just me, or is it going downhill very fast...

last year it was really warm and sunny

this year it was a reallly early heatwave, then it flooded, then it was rain cloud rain cloud for the rest of the 'summer'! [apart from my holiday in buxton, no rain at all!, the AMEF weekend, and army anuall camp at thetford] that really proves the sun shines werever i go!

and now its really cold (5 degrees when i got out of my car yesterday at 7:30) and its dark allready!

i miss summer!

In Scotland, it rained throughout my Summer holidays then, the day I returned to school, there was a short heatwave. Talk about irony. Blame it on the steam trains.

talk about holding your breath.. did u let it all go at once? really powerful? as i was ridng my bike down a steep hil, the wind was so b*sterding powerful it stopped me and knocked me off! then some chavs hooted at me coz i had a network rail high-viz on because it was dark and very wet [road safety people!]

I think the recent years of hot summers has made people forget that this weather is perfectly normal the country.

And even then when the sun has been out its been quite warm. Sadly this week we seem to have a cold wind blowing and cloudy conditions, but once its out the way we'll have low 20's temperatures until around November.

Well I think this is the effect of Global Warming not just such thing happen in Britain but Singapore was affected too. It suppose to hot during the January to March period but we end up having a freezing cold period. From April to June was supposed to be super hot instead 4 raining days per week on average. Now July to September was meant to be colder but not too cold, but guess what in Late August, one part of Singapore started to snow! hock: Few roads flooded due to too much rain during Late August too.

I do not know what may bring to Singapore from October to December, probably reaching 20 degree in a tropical country and even more snow in this tropical country! Yeah, thanks to Global Warming one day our own Snow City will have to close down. Also I will be expecting more flood and last year the CBD almost flooded but the drainage manage to stop that, this year I expect more. But this year is that there would not be more Haze coming from Indonesia Burning of rubber plant which badly affected Singapore air quality and for 5 days reaching Unhealthy level.

Yeah, soon I'll be going to work and coming back home in the dark.

At least it won't be as bad as this time last year. I used to work in an office with no windows, so I'd go to work in the dark, sit in a dark office all day then come home in the dark. It was like living in Finland or somewhere.

I would like to start a petition that we stay at BST all year round. It's so silly changing the clocks twice a year, surely it's better we try and extend our light in the afternoons?

They are quite common, just normally stay as a short funnel cloud (dosen't touch the ground). I've seen loads, they normally look like a normal cloud, but recently they seem to be touching the ground, and so causing damage, which people notice, and then moan about

And all this global warming malarcy, IMO, it's not all the scientists want to make out (they're scare moncoring IMO). British weather has always been unbalanced, and over history, the world has always warmed up and cooled down.

Now, yes, all the Co2 will have an effect, but i don't think it's as bad as they make out. Did yo you that 80% of the countries meathan greenhouse gas) emission comes from cattle. So if they re so worried, we should kill all cows.......

You want extreme weather, climb everest. I was watching a program on BBC2 on sunday, and in day it can be as hot as 40 degrees C, and yet at night it can be as low as -30 degrees. Now thats extreme weather.

Basically, what i'm trying to say, as I'm bored and all, is stop your moaning, we have it pretty easy compared with some parts of the world

yes, and the evenings. i hate getting up when its damn cold and wet, then walking 5 miles to school [i cant bike as i had a little event involving a parked car and my lovely bike on a big road] and getting soaked.

thats supposed to start in november not now!
