A British team has broken the land speed record for a steam powered car, clocking an average 139.843mphin California. The previous record of 127mph had stood since 1906.

Cars have always been faster than trains, in terms of trains the Mallard 125 is blooming epic! id like to see it race a HST (hst joining the race at the same speed as Mallard)
