Ty Woofinden has just this evening become the Speedway world champion, despite a broken collar bone.
The first British world champion for 13 years.

Congratulations to him in a year when Britain has produced a lot of winners.
It is just a pity the media will largely ignore this event as the story behind his winning and the pain in which he rode in the Grand Prix two weeks ago would have made the hardest of us wince.

Already got woofy and Sam Lowes.
