Bristol Temple Meads tickets valid at Parkway

I have a number of colleagues from across the country coming to Bristol next week for a site visit, travelling on XC services. One colleague will collect them from Temple Meads in her vehicle, and I am due to be dropping them back. However it is much easier for me to go via Parkway.

Will their tickets let them through the barriers / are they likely to have any issues at the gates?

If the ticket allows break of journey, then you can start/finish short. Most flexible tickets allow break of journey, but advance tickets and some off-peak tickets do not allow break of journey. Also you can't generally travel "long".

So the answer depends on the particular journey being made, the ticket type held and the route the passenger plans to take (many longer journeys can be made by multiple routes that leave the origin in different directions).

XC services can be busy and if they have reservations from BTM then others may take the seats and joining at BPW could cause problems, which would not end the day well.
