Bristol & S.Wales diversions

This coming Sunday i notice that diversions are taking place around Bristol Parkway. Could anybody answer the following please:-

1. XC are sending Birmingham-SW services via Chepstow & Newport. Will any of these travel via the Maindee curve?

2. Will FGW S.Wales-Paddington services be routed via Dr Days Bridge Jn-Feeder Bridge Jn curve in Bristol?

Why would XC go via Maindee Curve ?? Im suprised they are going as far as Newport, they can reverse them on down relief at Severn Tunnel Jn.

Damn, im always getting the Chepstow & Hereford lines mixed up. Good point mate. Will have to hope for the latter. Im staying in Telford & going back to London & thought something different might be on offer.

Yes, HSTs are going via the Rhurbarb, calling at Patchway for a bus to/from Parkway.
