Back in Churchward's days they worked Plymouth to Bristol and only got off there because they changed the engine at Pylle Hill!!! I only replied because, to be honest, I can't believe what I am reading here. The thread title seems to refer to an earlier thread; is there a misunderstanding about what we are referring to? Apologies if I have missed the point.
No chance of any non-stop trains Bristol to Exeter in future then!![]()
Exeter West cover up to Bristol Parkway!
I suspect that in GWR days Bristol men signed to Shrewsbury! Or maybe Shrewsbury men signed Bristol. There was certainly a through engine working and it was less common in those days to be relieved en route.
455 driver do you work for FGW not SWT now?
Exeter West also sign Cardiff.

Out of question, which depot covers that Friday service from Westbury - Exeter? Its the one operated by a unit.
And what (if anything) else do they work as part of that diagram?
