Barmates (bridlington area railway modellers and train enthusiasts society) are holding a one day show on saturday 23rd august at the old parcles office at bridlington station. Layouts featured include
St Cyrus- a Scottish based 00 layout
Abbey Road - a 00 layout on which visitors will be permitted to drive trains
East Ryther - another 00 layout based in the 1960s featuring steam & diesel traction
Schönblick - a German H0 layout
Orll Mine - American N gauge
Yorfe Halt - British modern image N gauge
Fuller Vale British N gauge undergoing extensive renovation
There will also be a G scale display and Lego train exhibits
Traders also in attendance
entry is £1.00 all classes.
The show is being held in conjuction with bridlington station gala which is organised by the yorkshire coast railway partnaship entry is free. the gala includes charity stalls and local community stalls
