A First Bus double deck bus has had it's roof ripped off trying to pass under a low railway bridge in Macphail Drive, Kilmarnock. Bridge clearly signed as 8ft-3in. clearance. Article on the Beeb news website does not say anything about injuries.

Oh dear! No-one badly hurt, hopefully?!

Has what's happened had any effect on rail services? Think the bridge bash is a shortish distance (a mile or so) from Kilmarnock station heading out towards Auchinleck and then Dumfries / Carlisle.
