Departing Central for Kilmarnock I must have passed the Bridge St station building loads of times - but does anyone know why the exit from the building to platforms is at the same elevation as the current running rails?
Was there steps up to platforms or was it all regraded when the bridge a cross the Clyde was finally built. My search for pictures only shows exteriors.
