Perhaps a strange request but I am arriving in London St Pancras at 7.30 on Saturday and wondered if anyone knows of an OK place to get a cheapish breakfast within walking distance.

Nothing fancy (I am thinking full English) but I would rather fill up early then pay tourist prices when I am in central London with the family latter.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance, Andy S

I know I'm momentarily taking this off topic but has anyone ever had a kebab from Crystal Kebabs, next to McDonald's on York Way, at the eastern side of King's Cross?

It's a must for me before I return home from the smoke!

Walk along Brill Place passing into Phoenix road to the Golden Tulip on the left. Proper English (run by Turks) greaser.

I usually go to The Station Cafe opposite the Pentonville Rd entrance to the Underground (the old Thameslink station).

It's a pity there isn't a place that does Breakfast in the area called "Tiffiny's". Could be a good edit to the OP's title...:D

O'Neills across the road does a decent breakfast for a sensible price, although I don't think it opens till 08.00 - I used it before the GBRF tour in September. Apart from one person, I knew every customer in there - not bad for someone who lives 200 miles away!

Is there anywhere else near Euston/Euston Square apart from the Double Six?

Avoid the all bar one, I didn't think their breakfast was up to much and I wasn't too keen on the Cumberland and damson sausages or whatever they were.

In choosing a cafe for a full english breakfast there is only one "must have" : decent black pudding (none of this American hash brown rubbish)!

Speedy's Cafe , North Gower Street - end of Drummond Street, excellent place and often full of railway staff.

Great lunch choice as well.
