Is a single from SAC (St Albans City) to STP (St Pancras Domestic) valid for a break of journey at Kentish Town?

I know it's a stupid question, and I probably knew the answer a few months ago, but a relative had got a very hectic and stressful travelling schedule and I want to get it right.

It would be issued to London Thameslink, but yes, it is valid to break the journey at Kentish Town.
