Hi,
Can anyone advise if this constitutes a valid break of journey on 1 ticket or if I'd have to split the tickets into 2 separate returns around Glasgow Central/Queen Street?

The whole journey is Lochgelly-Mount Florida.

Day 1. Lochgelly-Mount Florida starting out around 10am followed by a Mount Florida-Glasgow Central journey the same evening around 9pm

Day 2. Glasgow QS or Central-Lochgelly starting around 1pm.

Thanks in advance,
Chris.

The full journey, for those not up on their geography is:

Lochgelly (Fife) - Edinburgh - Glasgow - Mount Florida (Glasgow)

The break of journey would be permitted at Glasgow on both the Off-Peak Return and the Anytime Return, since you are returning from Mount Florida at this point, and the return portion of of a return ticket is valid for a full month, and there are no restrictions on BoJ returning (outbound there are in some cases, although not on this ticket).

Thanks for that, soil!

Forgot to say it would be an Off-peak return but you covered the 2 options nicely anyway!

Thanks again,
Chris.

Basically, the question is, "Can I break the return portion of a Lochgelly-Mount Florida ticket in Glasgow?"

Unquestionably yes, and anywhere else en-route you wish, within the validity period of the ticket.
