Break of Journey on Off-Peak Day Return

Please advise if an off-peak day return from Huntingdon to London Terminals is valid for a break of journey at Hitchin on the return journey.

It carries restriction code L4

There are no break of journey restrictions on Off Peak Day Return (CDR) tickets, nor should there ever be on the return portion of any Off Peak ticket.

Break of journey is allowed by default unless it is "made clear" at the time of purchase that it is not.
