Break of Journey on 2W Restriction

I have a Super Off-Peak Single (Any Permitted) which says on the e-Ticket in the GWR app "A break of journey at intermediate stations is not permitted".

The restriction code 2W doesn't say anything about break of journey, nor does the ticket on brfares - is this enforceable?

Tickets with restriction code 2W permit break of journey. The text in the GWR app is wrong and misleading.
