Bought one of the new Bradshaw's Handbook reprints. Unfortunately ,unlike Michael Portillo's original used by him in the t.v. series it does not have any maps in it.Nicely done etc but if you want one with the maps you will have to go the EBAY route. Thought I'd mention it incase anyone was thinking of buying one.

I've got this one and I'd highly recommend it... good price too!

Most of the other reviewers seem to agree as well, and the entries for the places are as they were in the book that Michael used in his excellent series.

Yep, that is mine too. The entries are the same as in the t.v. series. Like I said, the only thing it lacks are the maps which would really finish it off. Great for browsing and using with the t.v. series.

I also obtained the edition linked to by AdamW (following a tip off by another staff member!), after which both my parents and brother obtained a copy. As the others have said, it is excellent (especially considering I saw a Middleton Press version for sale at £24.99 last weekend) - any thoughts from people on us perhaps having one or two forum visits to places from the guide/show?

I got the Middleton Press reprint for Christmas (1895 edition), quite an interesting read.
