Services are currently suspended on the Halifax, Bradford Interchange, Leeds route due to a lineside fire just outside Bradford Interchange.

Services between Halifax and Leeds will be diverted via Brighouse.

Customers wanting travel from Bradford to Leeds should go to Bradford Foster Square.

Replacement buses are being put in place for services on the Halifax, Low Moor, Bradford Interchange, New Pudsey, Bramley, Leeds route.

That's not what RTT shows. It shows it as calling at neither Halifax nor Bradford, i.e. diverted via Brighouse.

Everything is still not running. Let's hope it gets sorted before the evening rush hour.

Last ETA I saw was 14:45, but judging by some of the photographs on the T&A site it seems the building is right on the top of the wall directly south of the station & some debris is falling onto the tracks. So I guess it will depend on how much damage the fire causes, and of course how stable the builidng is once the fire is out & the building checked.

There is a machine en route to knock down the wall and rest of the building closest to the tracks.

Helpfully at the moment the service disruption notice on the NR site has gone, so it seems unclear when they expect it to clear. However services beyond 15:00 are still showing as either diverting via Brighouse or cancelled throughout so I expect there will be disruption for some time yet.

Edit: NR site now updated:

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/170994.aspx

A lineside fire at Bradford Interchange and a signalling problem at Halifax are causing disruption to trains in this area.

Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 17:00.

Advice for Northern customers:

Trains between Leeds and Bradford Interchange may be diverted via Morley, extending journey times by approximately 45 minutes. These diverted trains will not call at Bramley, New Pudsey, Bradford Interchange, Halifax and Low Moor.

Buses have been organised to run between Leeds and Halifax via Bradford Interchange.

The buses will be available from Halifax and Bradford Interchange from 11:00, operated by J & B coaches.
The buses will be available from Leeds from approximately 10:50, and will be operated by Magnet Travel and Blue Sky.

If you are travelling between Leeds and Bradford Interchange, you can travel to or from Bradford Forster Square to complete your journey.

You may use your ticket on TransPennine Express services between Leeds and Manchester.
