BR Liveries

I'm trying to find out the paint specifications BR used, and I notice that frequently documentation refers to BR Specification and/or BR Catalogue references for paint, which doesn't always include a corresponding British Standard reference!

This page shows what I mean. How could I find out what the equivalent British Standard is for 'Silver White' for example?

Not all paint shades have a BS reference.

However e-paint.co.uk have BS and RAL colour charts that you can view online

I'm sure I found a site that sold 'Rail Blue' paint but you had to write to them first telling them who you are etc.

Just print off a sample of Rail Blue and any Homebase / B&Q can mix it for you.
