Great stuff.

Anyone interested in the graphic design side of things would enjoy two books - British Rail, 1948-78: A Journey by Design and British Rail, 1948-83: A Journey by Design (as mentioned on the site). Both are out of print but copies do exist in libraries/eBay etc.
