Not surprising today was somewhat different from the more recent strikes we've been having, given it was the Train Operators (Aslef) who were out, and many RMT T/Ops were not going into work also.

The Central had been operating, shut down around 2200. Was running Epping to Leytonstone, Liverpool Street to Hainult via Newbury Park, and White City to Eailing Broadway / West Ruislip, by the end of the evening, at least. I booked on and worked at Leytonstone, I wasn't too impressed with the controller -

"Any idea when the last trains will be?"
"Yeah, last Epping will be 2120. I'll give you a call closer to the time with an update"
"Okay, thanks."

(2110):
"Hi control, any update on that last Epping?"
"..yeah it's gone".

Queue a platform full of angry passengers, and me not being able to get that train towards home(ish)!
