Boundary Zone tickets from the SWR app (not quite!)

This may be old news to some. If it's well-known I'm happy for the Mods to delete it.

SWR have an arrangement with Avanti (of all people) to sell Boundary Zone tickets for those who possess a Travelcard.

This info is hidden behind the info (i) symbol at the bottom of the screen when you open the SWR app. Then there's an option "Extend your Travelcard" from there you get to a link to the Avanti website. Just typing "boundary" into the appropriate slot shows up all the boundary options.

I don't know if other TOC apps offer the same link.

Out of interest, how is the Boundary Zone ticket fulfilled? e.g. is it an e-ticket?

The SWR app (Android) actually redirected me to the SWR website which then offered a link to to Avanti website - I half wondered if it would open the Avanti app on my phone (but it didn't)
