Boundary zone 6 ticket

I understand that this topic has been covered on this forum before, but I just wanted to ask whether I could purchase a Woking-BZ6 ticket return from my local train station operated by First TransPennine in Yorkshire. Will I need to show the attendant a valid Travelcard or can I buy this when I get to The Capital?

You may find that an outboundary Travelcard is cheaper depending on your circumstances.

So, to confirm. I can go to my Yorkshire station, buy a day Travelcard and a boundary zone 6 ticket. This will get me from Woking to Waterloo providing they are both valid.

Last thing- I found a super off peak return from woking to clapham junct. Can I get a SOP return from woking to boundary z6? Also, casn I use a family and friends railcard to get the travelcard with in Yorkshire?

Correct. No restriction at weekends.

Anytime tickets have no time restriction at any time, as the name suggests.

There is no Super Off-Peak ticket in the opposite direction. The restriction code of a Boundary Zone 6 - Woking Off-Peak Day Return is B3, but it is US for a ticket from Woking. If you are travelling on the B3 ticket in the direction leaving London, you need to check the restriction text on the outward portion, but if on the US ticket in that direction, then you need to check against the return portion.

I thought that railcard discounts weren't available on the SWT Super Off-Peak Boundary Zone fares. They are blocked (although perhaps unintentionally) by non-standard discount rules in the fares database. I'd be surprised if anybody is able to buy one, but am open to be being proved wrong (but would like photographic proof!).

Are they? I wasn't aware of that. There is certainly no publicity about it.

I've never had a problem buying them from a ticket office. I've always assumed it was just some weird error.
