Boundary Zone 4 -> Bromley South

Hi All

I will soon be changing my season ticket to Woking -> Beckenham Junction not Via London £291.90 monthly.

I will need to travel on occasion to Bromley South as a return.

The cheapest return ticket is the BZ4 -> Bromley South £3.80. Is this extension valid as the train will have originated from London Victoria?

You an only combine Boundary Zone tickets with Travelcards, not point to point season tickets.

Oyster appears to be the cheapest option, £2.10 peak, £1.70 off-peak. You could also use Route 227 to Bromley for £1.40 on Oyster, £2.40 cash single.

Another option would be to buy a Woking - 2-6 travelcard for £13/month extra. Not worth it just for the odd trip to Bromley, though.

You may find a season ticket valid for a few days more than a month better value for money, as it means someone who works Monday-Friday can (say) buy a ticket which ends on a Friday and have the next one start the next Monday.
