Boston - Bradford Interchange Saturday

Hello... I will be travelling from Boston to Bradford Interchange by rail on Saturday, and am hoping you lovely people can possibly get the cost down.

I want to arrive into Bradford for around 1pm, and then leaving after 6pm (yes, for football).

The cheapest I can split the tickets, with a YP railcard, is Boston - Doncaster £14.70 return, and Doncaster - Bradford £8.10 return, making £22.80. The Boston - Bradford return fare is £26.95.

I don't mind travelling a longer way, if it means getting the cost below £20, which would be ideal.

If you take the stopper between Doncaster and Leeds, you can split at South Elmsall (just inside the WY Metro Boundary).

That would be £1.65 + £3.45; I think that makes £19.80

Due to engineering works, the Donny-Leeds stoppers are not running, an East Coast services are being diverted between Doncaster-Leeds. You can split your ticket down further by buying:
Doncaster-Wakefield day return £5.10 (valid via Leeds on a diverted Wakefield via Leeds service, then break your journey)
Leeds-Bradford cheap day return £2.40
Total £7.50
