Borismaster - County Durham (25/10)

Is there any reason why one of the New Routemaster buses would be in County Durham today? I drove past it this afternoon at about 3:30pm on the A167 between Newton Aycliffe and Chilton.

Answered my own question, it's been visiting Cummins at Darlington. I assume it's the only one up here.

I saw an Abellio Borismaster on the M40 on Friday going North! Maybe it was this one?

Not knowing an awful lot about the technical aspects of the New "Routemaster", is the whole driveline supplied by Cummins, including batteries, or is it purely the engine?

Just the engine I assume. Siemens provided the electric motor.

I saw an Abellio Borismaster on the M40 on Friday going North! Maybe it was this one?

Might be LT11, apparently it has an experimental electric conversion, and rumours are it will be at next weeks Euro Bus Expo show 1-3th November at NEC Birmingham
