I practiced using the sounds setting, and my best was about 35.

I passed the reactions test.

However, back in the day when my kids first got it and there was a novelty to it, on the normal setting I think I was pushing 100.

250 is the maximum. My best score was 750 when I got 3x 250 in a row on Bop-It extreme after a not significant amount of practice. Once you get the hang of it you can almost go on forever.

I don't think it improved my performance on the Reactions test even though I did pass it with ease. There are better ways to practice for this test than Bop It.

Highest 44 now, but normally around 25.

Half the time it's mixing spin with twist, and a lot of the time I get to the right thing, but it doesn't register, esp, spin and pull.

Somewhere around the 150 mark, a mixture of voice bop and beat bop. Sometimes I'd get 70-odd, then manage no more than 12 the next time. Personally I felt the practice really helped me.

That's a pretty awesome score! Just out of interest, what do you feel would be a better way to practice? I've been using bop it and the print out reaction tool that's on here so far, is there anything else that helps?

You've either got it or you haven't MrHappy. Bopit, I feel does nothing - it just doesnt compare to the intensity of the reaction test. It's a toy afterall.
Practicing the reactions test is good however and must fine tune some inherent skills. It's clear from these boards that there's no direct link between being good at BopIt and passing the mainline driver assessments.

The reactions tool with the print out is by far the best way to practice for the reactions test. After a number of attempts, you'll find yourself comfortable with the layout of the modified keyboard and able to react at a very high speed. It becomes almost as easy as typing on a keyboard after practice. The real thing is exactly the same, only that its a real keyboard instead of a piece of paper. I really do not think Bop It helped at all.

When I sat the reactions test I found it slow and easy, until part 2 where you can set your own pace! It can be hard not to try and go too fast on part 2.

I got 100, I still pick it up now and again and manage about 70 odd for one quick go then put it back down.

I managed a top pass for the DTG on my assessments, person taking it actually said it was an exceptional pass, which was odd because I remember making one mistake in the first part, and blanking out on a low tone for 3-4 seconds on the second test.

As above I found the proper practice test really useful, I was much better prepared for the actual assessment on the day.

Can't find my Bopit :( suspect I lent it to a guard at work to practise (aling with various books) and haven't had it back. I accept what others say but it really did help me a lot!

Thanks for the input on that. Seems like good advice to me :D
