Waterstones website shows the following to be published 15/03/24. I wonder whether the 2024 is a typo as the publisher’s website has it as out of stock?

Prague Trams (Paperback)

George Fairbairn

Publisher: Amberley Publishing
ISBN: 9781398101135
Number of pages: 96

Amazon has it as available to pre-order with the same publication date as in your post.

Not what you asked for, but this is an interesting website. If you browse it on Chrome, it'll translate it to English for you (although not perfectly, you get the general gist).

There's the various types of trams, and info on driver training and how the driver's breaks are planned, as well as some history.

Not the direct answer your looking for - BUT Looking through a huge collection of European Tram Books i have just been asked to help sell , here are what appear to be the key publishers for all things European Tram and Tramway .

They do all appear to be in Germany , but the quality of the Maps, Line Drawings and Photographs is top quality . Many of the titles seem to be in various series , so there is a good chance that Prague and the like are covered. As you can see there is an Vienna publication .

As you can see from my images , many of the books are still wrapped and unopened

So if anyone is looking for European Tram and Tramway Books so get in touch - I do not have a list , but could send over images of say 10 books at a time .

I have in my collection a 1980 publication called Atlas Tramvaji by Ludvik Losos (& kolektiv), published by Nada.

It is in Czech (apart from a single page in each of English, French and German) and covers all the tramways in what was Czechoslovakia: obviously a large part of this is given over to Praha.

There are line drawings of all tram types used up until 1980 and the comprehensive fleet table gives many dimensions. There are also 150 or so pages of photos in the book.

After spending another wet and windy weekend sorting through various boxes , here are 3 more publications , all in english , that might help you in your quest .

I have spare copies of them all and have now scanned and listed them on my website - Transport Past Times

Hope that helps
