The current (September 2022) issue of THE RAILWAY MAGAZINE includes a wonderful article on 'A Century of Met Electric Locos: Celebrating 100 years of the Sarah Siddons fleet.' This piqued my interest and I wondered if there were any good books on these fascinating locos? A quick trawl through amazon revealed a slim volume entitled 'Metropolitan Electric Locomotives' by K.Benest - and not a lot else!
