Booking site where you can specify connection time

Are there any booking sites where you can specify your own connection time? Due to the stupidly long official connection times I often end up doing seperate searches and booking separate tickets but if there was a site that brought up connecting trains based on the time you need to change, so that you can do it all in 1 search, it would be very helpful!

If you book trains with connection times less than the minimum connection times between two separate tickets, you can’t claim Delay Repay for the entire journey, if that is important to you.
Booking sites will implement connections based on the defined minimum connection times. You can make the connection times longer if you want, but not shorter which I think is what you want to do.
I don’t know, but I imagine any site which did not honour minimum connection times would fail accreditation.

Yes I mean shorter. Sometimes this can make a big difference to overall journey time if a faster service or a long wait otherwise. I've never bothered with delay repay.

It is not possible on any booking site to shorten connections below the minimum as this would fail accreditation. You would need to book the parts separately or use a flexible ticket.

It should be at least be an option at your own risk. Inclusivity works both ways! On some connections its seems the whole train load use the unofficial connection as there's ample time and no point standing around longer than necessary.

A few years back I arrived in London Waterloo well after 19:00 and still made the 19:30 Preston from Euston, but no booking site would show the journey.

Completely correct.
55 minutes has to be allowed on any day after 19:00.

It’s not stupid. People want to be able to rely on the itineraries they’re given and to claim recompense when they’re not delivered.

I think you always have to do your own research, checking if there's an earlier plausible connection. You can look up trains separatley from changing staion to ultimate destination. If you know your way between London stations, connection times are generous.
