I've just been invited to interview for a Booking Office role and I've got a few questions to ask before I go to the interview.
I'm pretty confident about the interview as my entire working background has been customer service related, which from what I've read is the majority of the role.
The job specifies weekend shift work is included, will this likely be every weekend or will it rotate week to week? Will there be pay benefits to working on a weekend?
Is there opportunities for overtime beyond the contracted hours? Will this role enable me to have good career options going forward? The biggest issue I have with my current role is the lack of progression available so this is quite important for me.
How is the morale within the rail industry right now? Again, this is really important due to the negatives with my current role. I've read that the ticket offices were going to close until it was stopped recently, will this likely popup again in the near future?
Thanks in advance for any replies, I'm really excited about the prospect of starting as everyone on here seems so positive about working in the industry!
