P.S Yes i know it means Barmouth Bridge!!!!!!! But,it sounds quite good in my opinion....
I'm building my first proper route for RS,so far not done very much started with the TMD named after my fav loco (my beast) 37427 'Bont 'Y Bermo'. I have made a 4 road TMD with 2 road fuel point,a 2 road DISUSED civil engineers yard a half built triangle (it is slightly based on Tinsley,only VERY SLIGHTLY) with a main line eventually going to run by the bottom. I am intending to really focus on attention to detail and feel i have done so far, i have a town 3/4's built (Bont 'Y Bermo) it is a real ****hole and has terraced houses backstreet dumps and building sites! It also has a row of authentic railway houses.....
The TMD:
It is fictional (in that it is made up,everything inside it should be prototypical) it is a depot built in the 1960's towards the end of steam (it still has old water tower) but this is the mid 90's and everything is delapidated and forgotton about,especially with the closure of the TMD in 6 months time. there are weeds growing everywhere and the buildings are dropping apart,much like the town. The depot is currently owned by Railfreight Distribution and has an allocation of class 47's mainly transferred from Tinsley when it closed (this is all semi real,it is based in late 1995 Tinsley actually shut earlier that year and locos were transferred about) including Tinsley celebrity 47145 'Myrddin Emrys' which has become the depot mascot! A few class 37's are allocated but rarely spend any time on the depot (
well that's never for a little while!) and an 08 often shunts to MW Metals (which is just around the corner). Steam locos also sometimes visit as this is the areas best depot to service them as there is plenty of yard space.
Hope you like and keep a tab here this route isn't one i plan to forget about!!!
47145 stands outside the depot as 2 other ex Tinsley 47's stand in the depot alongside a visitor from Thornaby.
RF liveried 08535 stands in the headshunt after working 9B01 10:06 M.W Timber Ltd-Bont 'Y Bermo trip working......

Progress update:
About 4 miles of track laid,Bont 'Y Bermo Parkway station built (95% of surrounding scenery done) 75% of Bont 'Y Bermo town built.
M.W Timber Ltd sidings built and track markers placed (not a real functioning industry although it can be used realistcally in scenarios)
First *Proper* train has been run on the almost complete trackwork around the depot (80% of Triangle complete),it was 08535 on the daily pallet trip working to Bont 'Y Bermo TMD (where a 47 takes over) I have included a couple of headshunts etc in the depot to accomodate these moves.
Next tasks:
First Freight loop
First industry (pit)
First Consumer (Powerstation)
and another depot
not much signalling done as yet as i don't fully know how to do it yet,i'll be following tutorials tomorrow.
I am using the IOW signals around the depot (the colour 2Asp ones,because they have a nice glow.....)
