Right so other day im getting off a TPE from york to manchester at leeds and im about the 3rd last person getting off(about 10 people out of this door), my girlfriend was infront and she just about manadged to get off they left her just enough room, well when i tried they completely closed and started piling onto the train. The two people behind me were small and well older and were looking slightly frightened. After shouting twice let people get off the train to no avail, I got fed up and just barged making sure the old couple behind me were close behind.
Why do people think it is okay to do this? i Should not of had to barge off a train guiding an old couple? It is an absolute disgrace.
this wasnt rush hour the train wasnt full at all, it was about 4:30 saturday afternoon and the train was due to leave 10 minutes after it pulled in. so why did they feel they had to do that?
Is this a common problem?
A couple of them who started giving me looks and muttering things at me got a very quick explanation.
so basically end of rant just wondering how much of a problem this is? and do people ever get stuck on trains?
