When the Enderby park and ride site in Leicester first opened a big deal was made of the buses having Bluetooth on board. From memory all that the service enabled was the downloading of the very basic timetable to mobile devices (but if you're already on the bus its a bit late to get the timetable). Can anyone recall what the supposed benefit of this was as I really can't think of anything considering the typical use of bluetooth? Was this something that happened elsewhere or was it yet another idea of Leicester City Council that was a total waste of money?
