Just a quick query. Today I was on my way home after paying a little visit to 150001 at Basingstoke and at about 1615 a dark blue (FGW style colour) train blasted past my Voyager. It was heading towards Basingstoke (from Winchester direction) and I saw it 5 minutes after leaving Basingstoke.
It was about 8 coaches long at a rough guess, it did not look like a 450 (or two) but it did look like a unit, i.e. no loco (not too sure on this part though). It caught me by surprise and as I was unable to get a proper look.
Any ideas what it was?
