I know it's a bit past the date, but could anyone confirm the ID of the blue Class 67 that was stabled at Doncaster on the main day of the Deltic 50 Event on 8th October 2011. Would it have been 67001 and was this the first one in this livery?

67003 was the first 67 painted in Arriva blue. There was a thread regarding one of the Arriva blue 67s knocking around the ECML at the time you are asking about. I think it was 67003.

Thanks sprinter guy. Can anyone confirm it was 003 on the date of 8th Oct last year?

67003 was on the WCML on the 4th (I saw it at Warrington BQ and again at Warington RMT that day) and 67001 was at Doncaster on the 5th (and ran about a bit light engine), so I'd say it is more likely you saw 67001 on the 8th.

It was 67001 as I passed Doncaster on the morning of 8th October, believe it was with 022.
