Does anyone know what the BR-liveried Mk3set + DVT is currently being used for? The one that used to be used with the 86 for Hull runs.

The coaches which were used with the 86 were owned by Cargo-D, and the firm went 'bust' in 2011, although most of the coaches used in by Hull Trains had already been disposed of before then. The only blue/grey Mk.3 set now in regular use is a Chiltern Railways slam door set use on Banbury commuter services.

As was said the coaches were owned by Cargo-D, who went into administration. This is current status of each coach that was used by Hull Trains,
12043 - operated by Chiltern Railways, in their slam-door Blue & Grey set
12014 - operated by Chiltern Railways, converted with sliding plug doors and now numbered 12609
12038 - operated by Chiltern Railways, converted with sliding plug doors and now numbered 12607
10202 - stored at Long Marston, owned by Arriva, in Blue & Grey livery
11031 - operated by Chiltern Railways, in their slam-door Blue & Grey set
DVT 82115 - stored at Wolverton Works, owned by Network Rail, in BR Blue livery.

And the loco, 86101, remains in AC Loco Group ownership (and retains the same livery and name). It makes the occasional mainline appearance, and is due to move up to Mossend (Scotland) today for winter 'ice breaker' duties.
