Hey all,

A few weeks ago I passed through Bletchley and noticed some of the old signals were getting replaced by LED signals, similar to ones on the WCML which are controlled from Rugby SCC. I was wondering if any of you know if these signals will be controlled by Bletchley PSB or is the box getting decommissioned? Will Rugby possibly take over the old Bletchley PSB area?

Has anyone else noticed the new signals?

Bletchley PSB is being decommissioned and power transferred over to Rugby between Christmas and New Year I think, it's part of the reason the West Coast is closed between then too. It's been on the cards for a while hasn't it? IIRC there's also some new pointwork turning live with it too.

Rugby takes over the Bletchley area in the Christmas engineering work.
That will eliminate the "black hole" and make a 100-mile control area (King's Langley-Armitage).
