Blackpool Transport New Buses

I don't know if anyone with knowledge of buses in the North West can shed some light on the Blackpool Transport fleet?

On the Blackpool Transport website last November it was announced that 10 brand new single decker buses were to be purchased and would be appearing around March 2015, as of now we don't have any new buses or no news on the website, so does anyone have any information on this please.

There have been a couple of sightings of Mercedes Citaros in a black and yellow livery on the M6, so I'd imagine these are the vehicles in question. Apparently, BTS have requested enthusiasts not publish photos online until the launch.

Delivery of the Citaros started recently, expected in service in May. There's a few photos of them floating around on Flickr, one example attached here

Nice motors. Rather a shame though that there still doesn't appear to be any money to spend on designing a decent livery :-/

Travelled on one yesterday, much quieter than other buses and nice comfortable seats.
