Blackpool to Manchester Airport needs a semi fast service

Blackpool to the Airport still needs a semi fast service frankly if it ever comes to light. Although having one of them an hour not stopping at Blackrod and Adlington is definitely a good idea during off peak.

Indeed. Could do with a service calling at Piccadilly, Oxford Road, Deansgate, Salford, Bolton, Chorley, Preston, Poulton and Blackpool only. The service I got on the other day, stopped at every single station known to man, including Lostock, Blackrod, Adlington and Layton! And wasn't even a late night service yet still had a class 1 headcode.
