Blackpool North Pole?

Surprisingly, I was allowed onto my train 10 minutes before its booked departure, and I only had to go through the automated ticket barriers.

Things appear to be improving at Blackpool North. When I last visited the door to our platform was open on the trains arrival and not left until the last two minutes as previous experiences have been.

The door to Platform 1 was open 30 minutes before my Avanti left today, also i had a nice chat with a very amicable member of staff at Blackpool North.

At least one of the signs still says Blackpool North Pole as of Monday 13/01/20.
