This is my first post on this board. So firstly hello to everyone.
In August 1994 (possibly 1993) i remember seeing an 08 running around Crewe Diesel Depot. I am trying to find out the number, i took a photo which i now cant find but i couldnt see the number in the photo anyway.
The loco was black with what i think was a red backed number plate. However what sticks in my mind is i'm sure there was a small picture of a clowns face on one of the side engine doors.
Can anyone shed any information on the identity of this loco?
