Birmingham / Wolverhampton disruption

National rail reporting line between Birmingham and Wolverhampton blocked due to an incident.

Also being reported that the Peter Kay event ay the arena has been evacuated due to a suspicious package with a 19 year old in custody.

I would assume the two are connected, doesn’t that line run directly underneath the arena.

Let’s hope everyone is safe, takes me back to being stuck on a train at Birmingham international in 2005 Whens the whole city centre was evacuated.

Edit sorry it doesn’t look like they are linked after all as national rail now using ‘Dudley port’ as a handle/location of that incident.

They were unrelated, was a person struck by a train on the Birmingham - Wolverhampton line.
